While working on Stitch & Motif Maker V3, I became so immersed in the cable symbols, that I began to think about my own cable knitting or lack thereof. I realized what was holding me back was my own inability to visualize and turn the cable simultaneously.

Since I love to knit without interruption in the flow, I always found both the cable chart and the cable needle annoying. I would look at wonderful Arans, think about them, but never knit them because I didn't want to be married to a chart or always trying to find my cable needle.  

Using these techniques, I can now knit a complicated cable pattern in less time than it takes me to knit seed stitch.

I hope this book will remove the mystery of reading a chart. Its purpose is to enable you to work the setup for your cables and never need to look at the chart again!

Included are two basic exercises and a third exercise which produces the hat on the cover. There are also patterns for a pair of socks and the two sweaters pictured.  The sweater patterns are written in both cardigan and pullover versions.
